Cecily is doing fine. She is a riot. Been a long time since we have had that much energy in the house. Makes Hennessey sleep like a baby! She is doing well with her crate, letting me feed Hennessey first and not stealing his food. Been a good week. Need to work on stay and leash training, but she is so sweet. She is such a snuggle bug!! Wow! The way she sleeps in the bed is hilarious, she thinks she is human and insists on being held. Cracks me up. (we simply can't imagine where she could have learned such sleeping behaviors, wink wink - DDRI)

  • Temperament - Cecily is a sweet, affectionate dog. She was found stray but appeared well cared for. She already knew sit and down when she got here, so someone did work with her.

We got Cecily from the shelter in Caldwell, ID. She was found stray. As mentioned, she has had some training, but her general manners aren't great. She was very underweight when we got her and had the ususal starved dog fixation on food, so she counter surfs, and will really pester you if you have food. We are working on this. The good news is she is eager to please and wants very much to be a good girl and do the right thing. She is a very pretty girl, tall and leggy, with beautiful brown eyes and the softest fur. She loves to cuddle in bed with you at night. She plays well with all the dogs here and hasn't shown the least bit of aggression. She is an all around good dog who will reward some TLC with tons of kisses and devotion.
