Em is a recent arrival. She is 9 months old and very sweet, but she is
rather timid. She is a wiggly girl, always wagging her tail so hard her
whole body is wiggling. She has some potty training issues which we
will be working on. She has peed in the house a few times. She has a
hard time holding it all night sometimes. She is a sweet baby and wants
so much to please. All she needs is some time, and a loving home.
Update 7/10/09 - Emily came to us with some vision
impairments. She was blind in one eye and the other eye had some
impairment as well. She's always managed just fine, but she clearly
didn't see well. A couple days ago Emily lost the remaining sight she
had. We've had this with 2 other dogs and one did get back their vision
for a while. Both the previous dogs had difficult adjustments. But
Emily is adapting well because she had such significant vision
impairment to begin with. She is such a sweet loving dog and so
trusting that she is easy to work.
We will post additional photos of Em as time goes by, so check
